Ok -so I am biased as this was my project, but I honestly love it - all of the feature articles from our first years in one hard bound coffee table book. Who has gotten their hands on it? We launched late last year and it sold out quickly. We just reprinted and it looks like it is also going to sell out soon. As we start thinking about doing a year two book - what suggestions do you have? Would love to hear them.

I grabbed one. Admittedly it was because when I went to buy back-issues of the magazine, I could only get them starting with year 2, but I for sure don’t mind and plan to get them all in hardback as they’re released.

@Mike Schoby I placed an order the same day that it dropped, I think (I had just had surgery and was at an elevated state due to painkillers, but I know I got the first release). Overall, I love it. I have collected all of the print mags since the first volume, but to have a hard bound book is awesome.

My only feedback is this: the application of the orange paint that was used for the fill of the embossed lettering feels…. subpar. It’s about 80% of what it should be. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but I can tell that over the next 50 years, as my kids and grandkids open and close this book, that orange paint will fade into a distant memory. I don’t know if it’s just the spray pattern on the printer or if some type of foil would be better, but it was not evenly applied, as one might expect. It looks like a checkered pattern of black from the canvas style cover is showing through. Tell me to go ahead and take a lap, because I live life with ‘em laced up.

That’s pretty much that’s the only feedback I have for future improvement. Otherwise, the book is pretty perfect.
