I’m Bill, living up here in Prescott, AZ, where the pines, dirt roads, and wide‑open spaces make it real easy to stay outside. I’m big on hunting, shooting, fishing, hiking, and taking the Jeep out for off‑road adventures whenever I can.

I’m married to a beautiful woman, and we’ve got two daughters who are already figuring out that life’s better outside than glued to a screen.

For work, I manage an orthopedic practice, helping folks get back to living their lives. I love what I do — it’s good seeing people heal up and get moving again, and it still gives me the time to get out and play in the mountains myself.

I grew up with a dad who was a gunsmith and a hotrod guy, and he had a way of keeping things simple. His classic line was:“Son, if you get into guns and cars, you won’t have money left for drugs.” Can’t argue with that — and honestly, he wasn’t wrong.

I’m also big into reloading and nerd out on ballistics, which means campfire conversations can get a little… technical. My buddies pretend they don’t like it, but they keep showing up, so I’m calling that a win.

At the end of the day, I’m just trying to pass on the same values I was raised with — work hard, enjoy the outdoors, fix what you break, and appreciate the simple stuff.

If you’re into good folks, good stories, and anything that smells like gunpowder, gasoline, or fresh mountain air, we’ll get along just fine.

Welcome aboard, Bill.

Welcome! Sounds like we've got a lot in common. Hot rods, guns, and time outdoors -- all things I'm raising my 3 kids with early appreciation for. I also work in healthcare, though on the dentistry side of it.

What's your Jeep build?

Welcome! Before I took the job with FE, I was living in PV. Absolutely love that area. The gun culture runs rich there. Bucky O’Neal’s is my favorite shop in the city.

Welcome to Society, Bill. Passing along those values is what’s going to help save the next generation!

We've met before. I'm Bill that works occasionally at Insight. We talked about holsters and 22 Magnums, lol.

Welcome aboard Bill! I rode through your area on a GSA a few years back. Beautiful country for sure. How hot does it get in the summer?

Hey man! That’s awesome! Miss you dude!

It was always good talking with you, and I really enjoyed your company when you came in. I got drawn for bull elk this year, so maybe I’ll end up writing an article about the whole experience and submitting it for the magazine. I do love the magazine as it has real world experience without being a catalog or politically correct. It's refreshing to the rest of the rags out there these days. I like how it covers the bare bones trips to all out dream hunts. I have champagne tastes but live on a beer budget, so I can represent the Po boy hunting club even though I buy nice toys.

Not to bad. We might touch a triple digit day two or three times a year but the monsoons shortly follow.

Same! You were always a great guy. I hope all is well at the shop!

We always welcome new submissions for print or the web. Glad you're here and looking to contribute.
