Hi I’m Wade from North Dakota. I spend part of the year in the great white north and part of it in New Mexico. I’m an archaeologist by trade. I work from the Canadian border south into TX with my bulldogs and wirehair pointer sidekicks. I’m very fortunate in all the hunting I get to do as a result of my travels. My job also works as a giant scouting opportunity as well lol. My main passion for hunting is upland birds. I only have three species left to hunt in North America, white tailed ptarmigan, mountain quail, and spruce grouse. I do big game and waterfowl hunt but upland hunting will always be my main passion. I have also hunted in South America, Africa, Greenland, Samoa, and Canada.
I collect Remington bullet knives, English shotguns, and classic cars so I have plenty of bad habits!
My claim to fame is I’m probably the only person you will ever meet who has shot sharptail and blue grouse over an English bulldog!
