Cagney, Goruck's spy ruck for women is the one I ordered for Lizzy. It is 16lbs. I keep you updated on her thoughts. Just a heads up if you decide to order it from them... I placed the order the morning of the 11th of March, and even checking in with customer service, I was told they were planning on shipping it this week but have not reviewed a shipping notice yet. Seems a bit slow, but maybe I am use to the speed of Amazon or the customer service of @The Gimp
This is the one I use. It balances nicely if you load it right. When I was training hard for the Murph, I was doing every gym workout with 40 lbs of weight in it and 60 pounds for walks, jogs. It takes awhile to work up in weight (start with 15-20 lbs.), but you will notice a huge difference in how much easier things re when you build yourself up. It took me a couple months to work up to the 60 lb misery.
Oh man, I think the Ski Erg is more core than anything.
Not wrong, but using your arms as connection with the machine versus feet (thread mill, step mill, bike, etc.) takes some getting used to.
