Hey guys, seems like a better crew here than some of the other sites. I’m an Iowan who’s married to a Colorado girl. Both of our hearts are in the mountains but that state has gone batshit crazy and is no place to raise kids. So we are back in Iowa for the time being. Still some okay deer to be had here but the glory days are gone. My oldest is knocking on the door of being a trigger puller so I’m really looking forward to that more than any of my own hunts. Looking forward to reading plenty of cool stories from the rest of you.

I have 2 teenage sons and there’s nothing I’d rather do than hunt with them.

We are working on more hosted father/son (daughter) trips over here at Outrider, hope to see you on one of those sometime soon!
