Glock 19 would be a great choice, but I'm partial towards my Glock 17 Gen 6. Big, yes, but still concealable for me at the 4 o'clock with my Tenicor.

I love Tenicor holsters. They do it right.

A lot of Sig fans here. If my W. German 228 was the only gun I could have for the rest of my life, I wouldn’t be worried.

For me, it's hard to beat a Glock 19. It's small enough to conceal in almost every outfit and situation, yet it's large enough to be a fighting pistol for me. Recently I've been carrying the S&W M&P9 Compact Carry Comp and that's been a solid option. Same concealability as my 19 but it shoots as soft as a gun that's twice the size and weight.

Glock 19. I've not shot the Sig P365, but am looking at potentially swapping to one of those since they seem to be sized a touch smaller but hold a little more cartridges.

The 365 is a regular carry option for me. I have run mine through classes and trust it a lot. I don’t know if it would be the top choice for my one and only gun for the rest of time.

If you don't mind a .380, the S&W Performance Center Bodyguard 2.0 Comp is just incredibly slim and concealable. Doesn't feel small in the hand, but its small, solid trigger and looks great.

Love the FN’s. Snagged the 509T on a special that came w 5 mags, 4 were 24 round mags. Slick shooting handgun. Let me know how it shoots with the compensator.

Will do. I will say this, pairing it with the FN Rush 9ti suppressor is a match made in heaven, so definitely look into that.

Glock 19.

It's a defensive tool.

Spare parts, magazines, and models are all around the world. Ammo is plentiful. If it gets lost, the training is already there.

Is it the best? A longer conversation...

But is it the most practical/realistic if you could only choose one? Hard to argue otherwise...
