I’m Jeff and living South of Denver. I’m from New Orleans and get really excited about good food(there isn’t a lot up here that can complete with what comes out of our kitchen). I work in energy now and was a machine gunner in the USMC in my past life. I hunt whatever I can in Colorado and get back South to chase whitetails, turkeys, and ducks when I can. Fishing here is weird compared to meat hauls on the coast but I’ve found myself with a few fly rods. I try to get out to catch Tuna and Amberjack at least once a year in the Gulf. Hot take that sport fishers (even old ones) are far superior to center consoles with quad 400s

I just left north Denver (Thornton) for Tulsa.

Old Steel - cool more historical gun shop.
The Gun Room - good dudes in that gun shop.

Found some good spots to hunt up in Meeker, but it’s gotten weird everywhere in that state in the last decade.

Some good spots up there. Got plenty of other suggestions if you want some, shoot me a DM.

Speaking of weird, stop by the Walmart in Trinidad some night around midnight to stock up on supplies for an elk hunt....I have yet to see anything top it.
