Who here gathers them? It’s one of my favorite spring activities even through I only need to eat them once or twice.

We found one last night in the back yard. We have a little sweet spot in our one acre. They should pop any day now!

Here are a few pics from last year.

I love them! I also especially like Coral Mushrooms and Oyster Mushrooms.. camp staples whenever I can find them!

@Mike Schoby you’re probably going to be hunting for these on the property before long

they may outrank turkey hunting for my favorite springtime activity. We've had some spots already popping in Indiana and I'll be looking on Sunday.

Used to hunt them hard when I was back in NY, miss em.
Ramps would be coming up right around that time as well, another favorite

I looked for them this weekend when I was pulling tree stands. I didn’t find any but checked my deer cams and had an unlikely visitor. We get a few wanderers cross the Pennsylvania line into Ohio every spring, but this is the first I’ve ever got on camera. IMG_4337.jpeg

For dinner last night I made a morel gravy to put over whitetail back strap. Also made some turkey nuggets from the bird my kid killed that day.
