You sound kinda Shifty. With either a halligan, ram, chop saw or Broco Rankin backpack torch, I have never met a safe I couldn't get into in 10 minutes or less... Just saying...

Crap, I thought they were made in the USA! Just did an AI search, and it turns out that SecureIt's higher end stuff is Berry Compliant but their "consumer" level products are Chinese. Well, I've encountered a rare quality Chinese-made product (Fenix flashlights, some Vortex products, etc.) so I'm still going to keep an open mind and give it a fair shot... but this development does disappoint me. Outwardly, it does appear to be a well-made product, though.I’ve got some pictures of mine I’ll share soon. Mine is sitting on carpet so I added some feet for stability. Feet not included. Agreed that’s it’s a quality locker. I don’t know when you bought yours, but mine delivered Made in China. For the price, I almost expected that. American made “locker” would be worth the premium but I could not find one.
I think additional insurance is a main take away for me. I never really considered my homeowners insirance may not be enough. They can't break into it if they can't find it... Have a dummy safe with some cheap guns to divert their attention and let them break into that thinking they scored.
Also get some good insurance, most home owners insurance doesn't cover shit for firearms and riders are expensive. Highly recommend Gun and Trophy Insurance is very affordable and a reputable company.

I’ll probably have to to defend my life on a Holosun optic.Crap, I thought they were made in the USA! Same for me on both fronts, sort of. The storage is really nailing my needs perfectly. As for defending my life... I have a Chinese-stamped Vortex Viper (reviewed here) on my go-to bump in the night gun, a Remington 870, mentioned here.I’ll probably have to to defend my life on a Holosun optic.
I’m keeping the storage. The size, price, and my intended use case met my requirements. I need to get pictures posted.

You would be amazed when you start looking at how poor most home owner policies are re. gun insurance. That said, there are starting to be affordable independent options that don't require you to schedule out your firearms under a certain individual cost. Also if you haven't already be sure to take photos and videos of all your guns, showing the serial numbers and reading them allowed. Put on a sd card and store it in a safe deposit box. You will want all of that to report to the police as well as insurance if you get broken into.I think additional insurance is a main take away for me. They only have $5k and $10k options? This is a great company to do business with. They don’t ask for serial numbers and will cover collections large and small:
They’ll go as high as you want but you have to call for a quote. They only have $5k and $10k options?

They're 100% legit, I've talked to people who've been paid out on claims by them to include a recent broken stock on a double rifle. This seems too good to be true.
I’ll give them a look. Thanks! They're 100% legit, I've talked to people who've been paid out on claims by them to include a recent broken stock on a double rifle.

This is who I changed to when SCI insurance lost their underwriter for a time a few years back.Gun and Trophy premiums

I went ahead and signed up with G&T. I was very impressed with their service. This is who I changed to when SCI insurance lost their underwriter for a time a few years back.
When I filled out the form online i borked something up and the owner actually picked up when I called. His dad was pretty cool when I talked to him at SCI back in 2025.
No serial numbers needed when buying the policy, but keep a personal list. No specific appraisals for a piece until a number I haven't hit, and that is for that specific gun not the whole collection.
