The first Outrider FE Hosted Georgia Quail Hunt is in the books, and it was awesome!

Great crew of hunters, and wonderful to see the natural connections made over the course of a few days. As is often the case, it’s the fellow hunters that ultimately make the trip, and that was true here.

The property is spectacular, and the family with long lineage there are amazing hosts and the entire hunt felt like visiting with your own kin.

Birds, shots, guides, loaned guns, landscape, all spectacular, with ample space, and great variegation of terrain to keep it interesting.

Accommodations in a manor that dates back to the 1850’s, along with a fabulous chef who over fed us with some culinary wizardry, along with some solid local spirits, added to an already amazing hunt.

Intel sources suggest @Tony Caggiano has two more adventures here in formulation for the coming year, I’d highly advocate a fair chase at these when announced as this was overall super fun.

For the near term, I’ll look past Tony’s unfathomable threat that I may not get to attend next time due to his patently false assertion I demonstrated anger management issues, between slaughtering a bushel of quail and an “alleged” headshot of an impala last year in SA. 🤣

WOW! Looks like a terrific time, and those complimentary cigars were all amazing 🤩...

@Al "Shifty" Schultz

That would have been true….

We had a bivouac in the woods on the edge of a great field, “sundowners” and those cigar boxes were loaded with amazing appetizers.

We killed them, AND cigars, and a good amount of “brown”….reveling in the glow of the quail slaughter.

WOW! Looks like a terrific time, and those complimentary cigars were all amazing 🤩...
