I’ve got a Ruger African in 35 Whelen for sale. I had RJ Renner do his Old African Stalking Rifle upgrade to it. Was very pleased with the results. He did a Rigby style fore end, Prince of Wales style grip, slicked the action / feeding ramp, bedded the front action screw, timed / blued the cross bolts, and installed a metal pin through the grip to further strengthen it. It has an upgraded express style rear sight, and European style sling swivels. The result is a very fine handling rifle, with a slim and trim stock, that’s ready to go anywhere. Shoots very good. Ive shot North Fork 250 SS, Speer 250 Hot Cores, Nosler 225 Accubonds, and Norma 250 Oryx. It especially liked the Norma Oryx. I can give the buyer my load data with it if interested.

I had plans to do a lot with it, but honestly just got off on other projects. Now I need to get some money put together so I am selling it.

Buyer pays shipping / fees. I can accept about any payment method. Will need to be transferred to your FFL from an individual. Will be well packaged and sent right away with UPS Second Day Air unless buyer prefers something else. Please message me with any questions you have. Listed elsewhere.

Personal opinion: Very cool rifle in a very cool chambering. Don’t be one of those people that’s addicted to new rifle projects instead of killing things with badass rifles you already have. This one belongs in the field.

Solid rifle for a buyer though.
