Hello all!
I'm Al Schultz, new to FE, but I've been following and purchasing every issue of the mag. I love the content, Bourbon and Scotch and good cigars.
I served a stint in the Corps under Reagan, back when people weren't confused about their gender and swimming pools were the first gender neutral bathrooms.
I spent a career at Boeing as a manager, until the events of 9/11 conspired to make me retire from that career and pursue a new career in law enforcement special operations (based largely on my prior military service).
I've just recently retired after 21+ years as a large municipality SWAT team leader.
Now I'm an old school Private Dick (investigator) who's been primarily forcibly kicking squatters and drug dealers out of honest people's rentals when hand wringing police officials and local authorities can't seem to assist or decide on a course of action.
I enjoy hunting and fishing and have all of my life.
I'm thankful for the staff at FE for making such a quality production, and glad to meet and hang with you all, even if it's only through the pages of your mag.
Would love to actually meet you all in person over a stiff one sometime!
