We have a caribou and musk ox hunt booked (actually won at my local SCI chapter banquet/auction) for the summer of 2027. I hoping the invasion is over by then, so the restless natives and animals herds are calmed down enough to permit American hunters. I am looking forward to flashing my drivers license to TSA to board a domestic Delta flight from DTW or MSP to Greenland. That will certainly make the travel easier.
IIRC, there's only 30K people living there now, so we should have an FES substation with our own LZ....anythign to NOT go through LaGuardia or any aspect of NYC.....
I went two winters ago. It is my all time favorite hunt. I shot musk ox, ptarmigan, and arctic hare. Going back for caribou next year.View attachment 1242View attachment 1243
I used one of theirs but it wouldn’t have been difficult. You check rifle in in Denmark instead of Greenland. However now I believe there are direct flights from US to Greenland so it would be done there.
