Sometimes life in the Corps is a real bitch ...

Good article! Since you were a CC stationed at Okinawa, I was wondering if there had ever been any talk about a few Marines who were enroute to some jungle warfare training and were temporarily laid over at Kadena AFB, stuck on base and were denied access to the chow hall because they didn't have papers saying they were TAD to Kadena or some such horseshit. At any rate, later some of the mess hall staff got bound and duct taped and their tidy whitey mess hall skirts got taken and worn by the hungry marines which they used to disguise themselves in order to gain access to the kitchen and pantry where they absconded with as much food as they could carry.
I'm just asking for a friend...

I could write a month of articles on variations on that theme. Our asses stayed in trouble on Kadena. See enlisted club ...
