Oh if only things got put back together as quickly as I would like. Answer: Humpty Dumpty still being reassembled. No true delay just it takes a bit to put the puzzle back together. As far as summer goes, yes, will be assembled well before then. Appears it will be under its own power and testing in late March I would say. I will post images here as she comes together over the next few weeks.

I was wondering what happened to this project!
You are so anxious! My goodness...its taken 3 years to get to this point! Builder says it will be out and testing in a month...which really means its likely 3 months. Everything takes at least 3X as long and 3X as much money as anyone tells you. At least. Doesn't matter how conservative they think they are being or how much "fluff" they think they build in. No one gets predictions of such things anywhere close...There is a software rule called Hofstadter's Law that says projects always take longer than expected...even when builders are aware of this law due to inherent, unpredictable, unforecastable, complexity. Such as it is here.

Did you retain the VQ37 as the power plant? If so, what has been done to the engine to prep it for rally?
Yes. Not sure what I'd replace it with? An American V8? Nah. It has way more power than I'll ever use at a base 332. We have tuned it and exhaust and such and changed some other ancillary engine items. Likely close to 350 at this point. Given its RWD? Its very hard to put that much HP to the ground on such surfaces. At some point, all you are doing is spitting gravel. And my talent doesn't match the power to control it at full tilt. No...this will be plenty for me.

Not mine....and that looks like if I ran something like that I'd be spewing fluid in the first 1/2 mile. No....don't need anything that is going to act like a cow catcher on a rally car.
Well, with some fab work we'd just mount it in the Prinsu rack, with snorkles down to the engine bay, and THEN you'd have more room for....
