I went to grab another makers cask 46 out of the cabinet and noticed this bottle had somehow made it back in the cabinet (it’s called maturity) with one last heavy pour. Killed it tonight. Weller 12 has always been my favorite of the weller collection.

I need to crack my bottle of Weller 12. Solid grab for the evening.

Tonight a Munyons Manhattan. Swapping sweet vermouth for Munyons paw-paw liqueur in an otherwise classic Manhattan. The walnut really softens up the edges on the bracing paw-paw tart.

Now that it is officially spring, I have been modifying Negroni's. Try substituting the Campari with Aperol. Found this through necessity a few years ago when I ran out of Campari one night. Turns out it is pretty light and refreshening and a good spring/summer drink.

Try sweet vermouth, Aperol, and rye whiskey. Built the same as a Negroni.
