Dude... Natty Boh.
Fucking A. Love that.
I grew up in Baltimore... I've drank hundreds of dozens.
My favorite Beermosa beer.
I was in Baltimore for years, Annapolis now. Hunt a lot outside of Chestertown. One of my hunting buds always has tall boys of random ‘old man’ beers- Old Milwaukee, Natty Boh, high life, etc.

I like that watch. What is the story on the Vaer watches? The ones I have looked at I like.
Smallish California company that makes pretty solid designs. Many models come in 3 versions... quartz, solar or Auto. They are trying to bring back some US assembly which is cool. If you like the look and movement I'd recommend them.

Vostok Amphibia Red Star Tank.

A.K.A, the Russian Tank watch. Cyrillic inscription at the 6 o’clock reads "KOMANDIRSKIE" (commander watch).

This was the second watch in my collection. Purchased for about $70 USD in 2005. My amateur horologist friend was really into Russian watches. Automatic movement, 31 jewels, still runs like an AK47.

Setting the date on this is a pain in the ass.

Such a cool watch. Most people probably won’t even know the full story behind the Emergency.
It’s funny, I thought this Emergency II would be more like a B1 with backlight and features. It’s not at all. It has the same features as aerospace and no backlight. It’s not great in the field. You also have to re-register it every 2 years with NOAA. It’s free but you have to remember. They send you a sticker to “place on the ELT”, but the sticker is the same size as the watch. Haha…

Technically, the ELT battery is supposed to be replaced by Breitling and they also change the quartz movement battery that a separate battery from the ELT. It’s $1,100 every two years. But in reality you get 3-5 years then when you go to charge the ELT battery it will flash red and there’s a small light at the 12 o’clock that will flash red as well.

Isn’t that the “Blackwater” watch? Not “THE” watch but…
