I read the first third yesterday at lunch and really enjoyed it. For some reason I always start with Jr. and JV's blurbs, and then read from the beginning. Both were on-point. Being from California and having grown up on the water here, the sea urchin article was really fun to read but also sad given the trending downward of the populations of so many of our sea creatures.

One thing I'm not a fan of is putting the articles from the website into the magazine since I've already read them. I understand not everyone checks FE almost every day like I do though so...

Good feedback. Initially, our idea was to include a few stories from the web to ensure our print subscribers could also go to our website to get their fix of badass adventure and lifestyle stories between quarterly print journals. We've actually discussed adjusting this section of the magazine to make room for additional, unique content. Stay tuned...

Finished it yesterday. Overall, loved Vol. 2. The Legend of Senna and the Rolex articles really stood out to me.

You should start receiving Vol 2 any day now. Let us know what you think. @Charlie Benton slayed this issue as always, I never have to worry about him.
I posted this on the thread "Kudos on a great new volume" but I'll post it again here....
I have to say the FE mag just keeps getting better... This latest issue is my new favorite! The content is terrific! I especially liked the Rudyard Kipling poem @Jason Vincent submitted and the venison scotch eggs recipe is now on my menu!
@Sean Molina wrote another stellar article. Just all-around awesome content! Keep it up gang, it's incredible!

Yes, Magnum Research is a love/hate relationship, my legs were also going numb preparing to do paperwork as I read with great reflections per 1911 tear downs. Never built one myself, just bought them from GMs around here I worked with. Then, in 2022 or so a neighbor I affectionately refer to as "Jackhole" threw down the gauntlet; his cousin had just bought a 50 AE DE, and....." nobody in this world needs...." a 50 hand cannon.....hmmmmmmmm, really? Now, I see this...

For the article written by Mr. Dabbs...he mentions the plane flown by the South Vietnamese fellow rescuing his family, landing it on an aircraft carrier and the captain of said carrier saving the little Cessna for posterity and that it currently hangs in the Pensacola Naval Station Air Museum. Well, I just visited the museum this past week. Attached here is an image of the plane. It hangs from the ceiling and rotates. Wonderful museum if you get the chance. A shade below the Smithsonian A&S and New Orleans WWII Museum but well worth your time if you can pull yourself away from the sugar beaches._DSC0890.jpg

Don't be shy to tag him, @Will Dabbs
