Drifted in and out a bit, got the kid into it with Drive to survive.

The boy and I went to the Montreal F1 in 2022 and 2023.

Like all motorsports you need to get to them.

MotoGP was awesome too in Napa in CA.

Not sure how i feel about this half combustion/battery set up with the boost. Sounds like the drivers aren’t crazy about it haha.
Technology should be the bi-product of racing, not the requirement.

Bring back the chest pounding V8’s or V10’s and get rid of KERS and the hybrid requirement.

Keep the halo. I was slow to adapt to that, but it has certainly saved a few lives.

That race was very underwhelming after the first few minutes. I think the whole battery management thing sucks because it's taking away from the driving. I do like the smaller, lighter cars, they look more maneuverable too.

I went to college right by the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. There is nothing like the experience, including the debauchery surrounding the event. Not only is it permitted, but encouraged to show up in jeans shorts, a cutoff, bring a cooler loaded with alcohol, and pass out in a field (infield). You can put up tents and have a good time for a week. Bucket list item. It’s blue collar and far cry from the white collar F1. I got invited to a suite for F1 and saw what the tickets cost, but no way I’d pay 10x+ what you can get an Indy ticket for.

The first F1 race I saw in person was at Indy. It was amazing seeing F1 cars on the banked turn, going the opposite direction from Indy cars.

I got into Formula 1 about 20 years ago and have been a passionate fan ever since. This season looks to be crazy due to the entirely new rules and car designs.

Any other fans on here? Thoughts on the upcoming season?
Yeti are you evolving beyond 👍

Love the show Drive to Survive on netflix.

I'll be interested to see what Audi and Cadillac do this year.

I've always wanted Haas to do well, but....
I want to be in person to hear that iconic switch from hybrid to gas motor on the Cadillac V-series race car.

F1 will have to do something. Its obvious that this strive for 50/50 electric to combustion is not working for most teams.
