I feel like it’s fabricated racing at this point. Newer fans to the sport will see it as exciting. More tenured fan base sees it for what it is… crap. Hopefully they get it sorted.

Other than seeing Kimi get his first win and Lewis finally getting a podium, the race, frankly, sucked. The whole thing is just a game to see who can use their electrical power better, not who is the fastest racer. Max is right, this is just Mario Kart

I recently watched a Matt Walsh podcast where he talked about Nostalgia and the longing for what was versus its over never to be had again. This was life in general but applicable here. I think a lot of us here probably have that as an ongoing debate in our heads.
 
Been on the road for a week and a half, so... Just catching up on Shanghai...

Obviously still a number of power unit challenges and driver orientation problems. Somewhat predictable with all the changes, but.... Holy buckets.

Complete chaos.

Complete chaos indeed. I feel for Alonso. Dont for the life of me understand why they would go with a Honda engine right after they landed Newey who is probably the best aero engineer ever.

Yeah, that's a hell of a way to round out ones career. Fernando may not be "finished" yet, but between time and team... he's done.

Didn't they have Mercedes engines last year? I bet they're kicking themselves for switching
