Camarena Tequila – 60 Second Review
Our man Wiley lives life on the road untaken. Or make that the beach. Spending much of the year posted up in Mexico spearfishing and surfing, Wiley’s making serious Waterman vibes everywhere he lands. And nothing pairs fresh speared fish and beach sand quite like a good tequila.
So it should come as no surprise, when Wiley emerges from surf he gathers around a beach fire and reaches for a Camarena Tequila, both the Reposado and Blanco labels.
“Generally, the Reposados, I like them in margaritas; I don’t like them as a straight sipper,” Wiley said. “I do like the Blanco as a straight stripper, on the rocks, with a little bit of lime, a little bit of salt, or just ranch water-style.
Whether happy hour or sundowner, Camarena tequilas offer a wide range of tastes, making it a perfect mixer in the solo cup or providing that well-earned pour after a successful haul on open water.
“This is great for just hanging out, casual crusing with the friends,” Wiley said. “Or you can even pour in your beer and make a little Baha Fog, which we’ve been making here at the beach this afternoon and having a good time, enjoying, drinking responsibly and doing our thing.”
