I thought this would be fun to hear what everyone's dream gun would be.

Lets say the magic Genie grants you your dream gun; just one, any price, any configuration.

What would it be and how would you spec it out?

I have a thing for English guns, so this would be my pick;

Boss and Co.
Side by Side 20 bore
Round body case colored
Single trigger
30" barrels fixed choke
Pretty much this gun pictured

I lusted after an HK SL6 and SL7 in high school, one of the Beretta O/U's with the 12/20 barrels, I cant even come up with a model # because of the cost of those, gets into guided hunt money levels, but, if money was no object....

A Beretta 93R would be a super cool gun to bust out at a range day with the buddies.
Drop a switch (full auto striker plate) in your Glock 🤣
We had a full auto "grease gun" and a full auto Thompson 45 which were pretty cool in our armory at the police department.. the full Auto Glocks and Uzis are a little hard to handle accurately (short bursts work best).
I really liked the full auto Thompson 45.. it had a relatively slow cyclic rate compared to other full autos I've shot, but I really liked it.. I imagine that the 93R would be tough to shoot accurately.

It was the FE/BFR 454 until I saw the price. I would love to have that gun but that's a bit more than I can justify for what it is. It is a hell of a well thought out design though. Pretty much the perfect hunting pistol.

If you go and build a custom BFR on the site, you’ll see that our version is a bargain for the specs. Hopefully we’ll have a few drops this year with them.

They’re surprisingly controllable for bursts. G18s are super tough to shoot for me. Some guys are surgical with them.

1. Lee-Speed Sporter Rifle - .303 British.

2. I saw a good condition used/old sporter Springfield 1903 .30-06 for $600 in an old Indiana gunshop... should have bought it and sent it off to Griffin & Howe... but I didn't. Regret not scooping it up at the time.

3. If they ever made artillery "street legal"... the QF 25 Pounder.

Very cool rifles!
Keep an eye out on the UK auctions, I've seen a few go through Holts for pretty cheap to include Holland & Holland finished versions. Getting them imported is fairly easy process.

Yep, one of the guys I shoot clays with occasionally is Italian and is a Beretta fan, he said there is a generational thing going on in the UK and the "old" guys have no one that wants to inherit their guns so they are selling them, the prices with the transfers are getting quite reasonable and if you can make it to one of the national clay target events in the US, the Beretta factory guys will go through the gun for you, a buddy has been on the hunt for a "new" gun.
