Trayvax, Suarez impact/bottle tool, always one SpyderCo or another, love the USB charged O-lights, LeatherMan Skeletool, Scoobie snacks. Near home; the B&T MarkII summer, SigArms GSR winter. Social work in the Act-Blue city always gets the FN 5.7 in that Kusiak sweetness, and I forget the brand of the impact stabby but it works. Not too long ago this sort of kit was a fun luxury of "look what I got" and now it's not, it's actually necessary. Oh yes, holding it all up most days is one of the T1C belts, for get which one but THAT is actually a hinge pin in these systems; it's a quick adjust, comfortable, flies in/out of the loops when you need it to. Drive on!
What’s your thoughts on the 5.7? I’ve sold a few but never shot one. Heard good things but curious if you think it’s a good carry piece and worth picking one up?

The FN is perfecto; light, fire power, excellent ballistics for carry/social work. I have to travel to/through a dangerous Act-blue sanctuary city for work. IDK about the other 5.7s on the market today- the FNs are not striker fired, it's an internal hammer fired gun. It's in my cup holder when it's not AIWB in the Kusiak; 50 rounds with that side car set up. We're at a point where the car jacking is the biggest threat for me there; the tap/bump at the stop lights, and suddenly you're looking at 2-3 dudes. It's just the tool that gets me to the AK or 887 Nitro if I need to go that far, but yes, I trust my life to it. I believe Sundles is developing a buffalo bore 5.7 load based on the (2) FNs he is working with now, not sure if he's going to bring it to market 100%.....

Working from home today so here's today's dump for when I go run errands: Staccato HD P4 with extra mag, Emerson CQC7-BW, O-light rechargeable light, RFID blocking wallet, Sharpie that isn't a Sharpie, reading glasses, and Burt's Beeswax all in a CCW bag from Sheepdog Response.

My list of wanted guns is growing faster than my acquisition, but I’m adding one of these. Thanks for the input.

Emerson CQB-7BW
Kore belt
Pistol (either G19 or LCP Max)
O-light flashlight (I forget the model)
Carbon fiber "Sharpie"
Dark Angel Medical D.A.R.K.
Fieldcraft fanny pack on weekends (I have a backpack for work)
Huge fan of the Benchmade CQB 7! I carried one forever on duty until I lost it on a cliffside rappel recovering a body that had been dumped over the cliffs (hung up halfway down on an exposed rootball) near Owens Beach. Never found another like it.

I had forgotten Ernie paired up with Benchmade. If you ever have a chance to stop by the shop, I highly recommend it. I have two Emerson CQB7s and I gave one to my daughter when she graduated from College.

My pocket dump from today, Sneaky Pete leather pouch/holster concealing a Sig P238 .380,
A bright pen light, write in the rain pen, wallet with all the appropriate licenses (business, driver's, CPL, etc.)
And my ever present Kershaw Select Fire folding knife with liner lock.
99.9 percent of the time I use a pocket knife all day long to cut hay twine, open mail, gutting fish, or a hundred other chores.. this one has a solid lock and ample blade that it could serve tactical purposes as well, but fortunately for me I guess, I've never had to use a knife to defend myself (except against a couple pit bulls once while jogging).. but never in the military or during my SWAT career (nor have I personally worked with anyone who has).. despite extensive training in knife defense and fighting I fortunately never had to do any of it for real, so for me I always carry a knife as a tool, and not necessarily a weapon. The Select fire does have an adequate handle for Applegate/Fairbairn style fighting or reverse grip should I have to..
But the bit driver and bottle opener gets used often!
