Pocket check time.
What are you carrying today, and what earns a permanent spot in your kit?

Knives, lights, pens, coins, lighters, the odd keepsake that never leaves your pocket. Let’s see it all.

Post a photo and run it down.

My abuelo always taught me that a man should ALWAYS carry the following: knife (Cold Steel Tanto Blade - old backup knife when I was working), handkerchief - can double as a tourniquet, wipe snot, sweat, and blood away as well as for when my wife or woman needs it, and a micron pen/fine point. And of course, a man should always wear a belt and a watch.

Been trying to perfect this but realized it will never be perfect. Current is:
Knife: Skallywag Tactical Wahoo - best $35 folder in existence - or fixed blade from a Brazilian friend that's always in my car
Watch: Baume Mercier Classima/Seiko 5 (office vs not office)
Pen: G2 Pilot .38 (extra fine point) + Field Notes small journal
Edgar is on point with the handkerchief
Patowatomi Casino $5 silver coin from my grandpa for good luck
Walther PDP if the ocassion calls for it
I need bigger pockets

I don't go anywhere without a handkerchief! I carried one when I was little and I've used it for many things. From plain white ones with my initials, to patterned, Made in USA. Yeah, if I am not carrying my Cold Steel Tanto Knife, I've got a spyderco emergency knife with window punch, seatbelt cutter and rope/cable cutter built in. I personally like a half-serrated blade. Glock 26. spare mag.

Emerson CQB-7BW
Kore belt
Pistol (either G19 or LCP Max)
O-light flashlight (I forget the model)
Carbon fiber "Sharpie"
Dark Angel Medical D.A.R.K.
Fieldcraft fanny pack on weekends (I have a backpack for work)

Not a sexy answer and I live I a really boring state.

I hate having stuff in my pocket so I carry a money clip which is a big paper clip. Had a real money clip that exploded on a Vegas trip and I saw that sitting on a desk at a store and asked for it. Been carrying my cards and cash that way for 15 years. That and a phone is all I have most days.

I do keep a fanny pack with a S&W Shield, extra mag, fixed blade knife and a flashlight in the center if my truck. Plus a pile of other shit in there.

Other than a beat up old wallet, this is the bare essentials. I’ll rotate the Kimber Ultra TLE maybe once or twice a week but this setup has been my most consistent. I’ve been looking at a good carry blade but have a hard time putting the Case in the safe as it was a wedding gift from my wife.

Trayvax, Suarez impact/bottle tool, always one SpyderCo or another, love the USB charged O-lights, LeatherMan Skeletool, Scoobie snacks. Near home; the B&T MarkII summer, SigArms GSR winter. Social work in the Act-Blue city always gets the FN 5.7 in that Kusiak sweetness, and I forget the brand of the impact stabby but it works. Not too long ago this sort of kit was a fun luxury of "look what I got" and now it's not, it's actually necessary. Oh yes, holding it all up most days is one of the T1C belts, for get which one but THAT is actually a hinge pin in these systems; it's a quick adjust, comfortable, flies in/out of the loops when you need it to. Drive on!

Yeah my (manliest man who ever lived) dad always carried two: one for himself and one to offer a lady. Nowadays carrying one at all really sets you apart.

Today’s pockets hold a Benchmade Mini Bugout with aftermarket Ti scales, handkerchief, Prometheus Watches Piranha dive watch, Surefire Stilleto Pro, and a Ti2Design fine liner pen
