16 ounce Genesee returnable bottles and here’s why…

When I came of drinking age, anytime I hunted the farm where my grandmother grew up and upon which my cousins now reside, I would come back and sit in an old rocking chair and catch up with them. My cousin would promptly walk out to his beer fridge which was expertly kept at a next to slushy temperature and bring me one of those big brown bottles and pop the top off for me. Those Gennys just hit different.

They serve those pop top bottles at some bars in Germany and it just feels right when you crack one open. I swear the beer tastes better.

Fluctuates for me. My original go to was Mickeys. Something about the green jars. Can’t really find them in my area though, so I’ve been on a Busch light kick for the past 6 months.
I did enjoy some wide mouths in the early 90s. Still have the scar from trying to skateboard over a speed bump in a college trailer park after way too many of them.:p
