I’ve got a Beretta 70S .22LR. “But Ryan,” you say, “those were imported by Century Arms with faux suppressors threaded and pinned on (as an importability “work around”) that people were able to grind free and use the existing threads to screw on actual real suppressors. Those aren’t special!” And to you I would say, “Well done with your strange niche Beretta import knowledge.”

But mine isn’t some bastardized imported Beretta with shitty threads and a front sight chopped down to accommodate the suppressor. Oh, no, she is NOT! MINE has no import markings and I had Tornado Technologies INTERNALLY thread the barrel to preserve the front sight and make it a nice clean host.

Here’s a video I made way back in 2013 right after I got this. It’s when SWR was still an independent manufacturer prior to them being absorbed into SilencerCo. I used SilencerCo’s upgrade option to make it a Spectre II as soon as it was offered. It’s still one of the quietest .22 suppressors on the market, even if it’s not the lightest.
