I am the same way. The used guns are always my first stop. I’ve picked up a few gems in the past couple years.

Some notable ones are a 1940s model 12 in beautiful condition, a rather well done sporterized krag rifle, an LEM usp9 with jet funnel, and of course last weeks Jungle Carbine.

I’d rather buy used guns than new ones if I can help it, the stuff I buy is either to collect or shoot the crap out of. So new guns won’t be new for very long.

Is that the same Daewoo that produced cars and trucks? I need more details on this pistol.
And toasters and consumer electronics.

So these guns were never as popular as they should have been. The action is very unique in that it is a DA/SA hammer fired gun but to decock the gun you simply just push the hammer into the decocked position. They take the same basic mag pattern/body as the old double stack 3rd gen S&W guns. They shoot great and are very accurate and reliable guns. There were several importers over the years. There’s a company (I believe Lionheart Industries) that’s still making modern versions of the guns.

And now I must find one for my safe. I see that they also made a similar pistol in .40 S&W.

This 39 I got at an LGS used gun counter 4 or 5 years ago in the box , I dont think it was ever shot, this store buys alot of collections and generally has the best used guns in the area, I worked for him for 10 years or so. I took this one out to oil up the other day.

Great find. Is this one strictly a safe queen for you?

I have shot it once and it stays in the safe, hopefully one of my daughters will give me a grandson to hand it down to. When I worked at the LGS for years you had the pick of the estates he bought, so In my hayday I had roughly 100 handguns in 2 safes, over the years I foolishly sold them and nowadays seeing the prices It makes me cringe. I have a soft spot for wooden grips on any handgun and these are perfect.

It’s so dangerous working the counter at a store. Your paychecks go straight to buying great deals.
