Which Emerson? Pics?
I have three. All CQB7-BW. My wife gave me my first one for our 10th anniversary (this year will be 33). I wanted one ever since I saw it on the cover of David Morrel's book, "The Protector."

I can't find a picture of it on my computer and I am currently somewhere (allegedly) where pulling it out for a picture would be a bad idea. I'll take a picture later.

The original got retired on our 30th anniversary because I'm afraid to lose it and want to be able to pass it down. I bought myself a new one last year which is what I may or may not have on my person right now

I really wanted to be a fan of the zenith shorts when I got them but they seem flimsy. Maybe it’s just how stretchy the fabric is but they feel like they’re gonna rip every time I wear them. The sizing is also way off. I wear a 32-34 or large in everything so ordered a large and they’re massive. The kuiu shorts are the best comparison I have, I prefer the tougher feel of that fabric, the button rather than a snap, and the thicker and wider belt loops. The zenith shorts are way stretchier and considerably more breathable. Y’all’s loose cut is more comfortable but the belt loops make it really hard for me to wear them. A side utility pocket would also be dope. I look forward to getting the camo v2 shorts.
X2 on the belt loops needing to be a hair bigger.

Hey guys, when I’m asking why you’re not buying a product, I’m not trying to get you to buy the product.

I’m trying to find out why you don’t want it, need it, or like it. It’s market research that will inform whether we’ll continue with a product, change it, or discontinue it after sell-through.

FE Society members are our most engaged base because of the different funnels you’ve dropped through to get here.

What I guess I’m trying to say is your opinion really matters to me and Field Ethos and we’re going to base a lot of our products off your feedback.

This isn’t a sales driver.
Need you guys to come out with a wax canvas goose down vest like these old Mcalisters you cannot best them, warm durable and zippers that don’t break.

Overall I have to say the product line is awesome. Quality, collaborations and utility.

The safety third vice tin is used everyday and the brushstroke mat is permanently on my desk. Got some shit for wearing my Defund HR shirt to a meeting with HR. Every other department thought it was hilarious. I picked up the Archer shirt but the sizing was hard to gauge. Got a medium but should have gon with the large. The body fits well enough but the sleeves were tourniquets. I'll likely take it to a tailor soon to fix up. And to be fair, I need to get in better shape and drop 15 to 20. I get the sense from a lot of the reviews that the sizes run a bit different than some are usually dressing in. Not sure if that's due to material or whatever else. I think some might be hesitant to buy some items if they aren't sure they'll fit well but I just think you have to read reviews and take a shot.

Some items I can't get right away for whatever reason are on my list to grab when I can such as the smuggle duffle or everything mug. A lot of the time for items I don't see as daily use or necessity it boils down to expenses I have at the time versus fun money. Price isn't any complaint of mine as I know the quality and value of the goods.

I’d have to say my favorite product is the long haul sling. I have used it on many western and midwestern hunts, on bolt guns and lever guns. It has never let me down, but more importantly it comes back from the field looking better than it did when it went in. Anyone who bitches that leather slings aren’t practical forgot that the first rule is always look cool. Just clean and oil it every now and then and they’ll get passed down with your guns, not replaced.
Second this, love the Long Haul Sling!

100% agree with the sleeves being too tight. It bothers be too. I’ve asked that they be opened up a bit. Getting the perfect fit is hard. For instance, the I’m a normally a size L in a t-shirt, but after 15 months on carnivore I can sometimes make a M work without looking too gay. The L zenith is too big, the medium fits perfectly, but the sleeves are too long. The L flannel fits perfectly but the medium is too small. The L venter fits great but the medium is too small.

Sizing is always a frustration.

The Patteson jacket is great and it's a bargain. Mine was too tight in the torso and way long in the arms. If the torso had fit better I would have had the sleeves altered, instead, I gave it to a good buddy. He's thinner than me and has orangutan arms. He was very pleased to be gifted such a nice jacket. I'm dropping a few pounds and will order another eventually.

@Alexandra @Jason Vincent How about a collab for FE Biltong? High protein snack for the duck blind. Make the package Rhodie brushstroke so the birds don’t flare when they’re working. 😃

The only reason I haven’t bought a bipod is because most of what I’m doing right now is from a tripod. The bipod is excellent for those who need a good bipod, and it’ll last the rest of your great-great grand kids lives if it’s properly cared for. I don’t have a specific need for it right now, apart from knowing I will need it later, but I don’t have it yet. The bipod is the ultimate lightweight bipod on the market, and there is no denying that. I agree with the @Godfather as far as the amount of utility that one might get out of a new item.

I think the reason that it could have been a slow mover is because:
a) folks already have a Spartan Bipod
b) they already have a bipod that works for them
OR
c) they don’t understand the use case and therefore, they think it’s out of their price range.

I run into C most often when explaining gear usage and the need to buy one a cry once, or buy a premium item to have a better experience. It’s the biggest hurdle for any industry.

A better way to put this is:
Nobody remembers the day that their bipod does exactly what it’s supposed to do and work exactly as intended. Everybody remembers the day that their bipod fails right when they’re about to take a 6x6, 380+ inch Elk. Conveying that to consumers is the single most challenging thing. The product is not a dud, by any means.

I have noticed an uptick in spotlighting specific collabs, and I think that is super helpful when you guys make individual posts for specific collaborations, because it broadens the reach further than a 24 hour story. I don’t know a whole lot about a whole lot, but I bet the knives sell themselves for the most part. I’m sure you know all of this already, but when it comes to the higher end collabs, it’s a matter of education to the following as to why the NEED the item. Like they won’t make it to tomorrow’s breakfast if they don’t buy it. And once that is conveyed, then creating a sense of urgency around it is next.

If you need me, I’ll be outside doing laps.
Can attest to having already purchased several Spartan products off of FE recs some time ago. Your points about people not understanding the use case and individual posts for collabs I think are dead on
