I’ve had mine on for a few days @Jason Vincent and quick review would be positive.

Stitching and fabrication, clearly quality.

How well leather will hold up to some field use, unclear, time will tell. For a town watch, not worried.

It’s a tad thick for the purpose of threading it behind the bars, took some effort and short use of pliers, but once done fits perfect.

It’s one of the nicer ones I’ve seen.

A member here gave me one which is on my Citizen watch. It was too boring with the OD strap. I can vouch for the quality.
Yeti, you’ve run one of this brand’s band before? Same construction? How’s the leather underside hold up to water/sweat over time? What about cleaning it?

One thing to mention, the Chesapeake Bay Leather strap is not a NATO strap. As you can see from the below picture, it is considerably shorter than the strap that came with my FE x Sangin Overlord which is a true NATO strap. The RWatchCo band is the one in the middle and, for me, it is just barely long enough to fold back under the keeper.

Good point @YETI - I’ve got pretty thick wrists and I have three additional holes left to attach, and the strap amply is under the two retaining rings, and yes, not enough material to fold back, but it’s also not that type of strap with the leather under. For smaller wrists, there are 9+ holes back tighter to adjust.

We’re going to do a pre sale
I’m glad to hear about the pre-sale for the FE Overlord. Truly. Nothing brings a man joy quite like a fresh opportunity to convert hard-earned currency into finely machined steel and mild regret.

At this point, I’m looking for a more efficient ACH pipeline — something that routes funds directly from my bank account into yours with the speed and dignity of a well-placed broadside. Between the Field Ethos Tropical in .38 Special, the Exception rifle, and the alarming volume of “essential” items I’ve ordered off fieldethos.com, I’m no longer managing purchases — I’m committing to a lifestyle.

If we’re honest, I’m not buying gear. I’m accelerating a personal transformation into an impoverished, dust-covered vagabond with impeccable taste and a dangerously rational justification for every acquisition.

If there’s a loyalty program for financial self-destruction, I trust I’m nearing platinum status.

Carry on. I’ll adjust my budget accordingly.

I don’t believe in making your children rich. You should bounce you first check on your deathbed.
