I really love Field Ethos it’s a society of like minded brother hood members. I have recently retired and I am getting to all those irons in the fire . 1994 till 2006 I was pistolsmithing my shop was O’Hara Custom Guns I ran this at night after my day job working in management for a large warehouse club this passion job paid for Disney land ,dirt bikes and whatever endeavor my kids wanted …………..spoiler alert give your kids what they need not what they want a hard lesson I learned . That’s enough of that crap the one thing I have always wanted was a heavy barrel 18 inch in 308 on Remington action and finally heading into retirement I placed some orders I loved the FE krylon 300 win mag but could not get one so I called GA precision Thad answered the phone and I went over what I wanted he was like yeah whatever you want ……………Mcmillian HTG stock , 18 inch barrel with surefire muzzle break Remington 700 SA , Trigger tech trigger. Badger bolt knob , Badger AIC’S floor plate and a Bartlien m-24- m-40 barrel contour …….. The rifle arrived 10 months later and it did not disappoint I am searching for the best optic . I am finally getting and getting the things I want in the fourth quarter of life I can’t wait to go to range and sight in . The other Rifle I ordered was from Parkwest ,now living in North Texas within weeks I will head to my property to break in both life is good . God bless America and the American way ….. Mike

GA build some great guns. That build reminds me of what we used to base the Ktylon off of, an old school sniper rifle that is bombproof and accurate. For a shorter rifle package I'm a fan of the Nightforce X8 2.5-20x but theres a lot of great options depending on what your looking for.
