So I’m super intrigued about the Endex. Kicking around the idea for an “any animal in North America” packable gun. Love to hunt the mountains, and have an horseback Elk hunt on the horizon. Also have always dreamed about owning a Gunwerks Rifle because well, it’s Gunwerks. Already own a Qfix with proof barrels in all 3 calibers. What I want to know is does the Endex feel like a “full size rifle?” The Fix to me feels small, and I love it for that. I feel like I would like to have that “full size gun” when I start cashing in on Elk points in Montana, WY, Utah, AZ. Considering a 7 PRC or 300 PRC, but just have never held one and didn’t make it to any shows this year as I have twin 19 month old twin girls. I plan to find a way to hold one myself, but I’m snowed in up here in N. MI and figured I’d ask. Have always planned on a Magnus, but the Endex has thrown a wrench in my plans.

The biggest thing here is your question of the feel of the gun. Absolutely it feels like a more conventional gun than the Fix. Keep in mind, the Fix is my favorite versatile and nimble hunting rifle out there. With all of that, yes, the Endex has the versatility and flexibility of the folding mechanism while feeling like a conventional and substantial full size rifle when it’s all fully deployed. If you have the financial capability to pull off an Endex, it’s easily the choice you should make for a do-everything North American gun. Based on your comment, you know the reputation and quality you get with Gunwerks. This rifle holds true to that and it’s worth the money if you can responsibly afford it.

I know this is going off on a tangent on this topic, but anyone else think that "responsibly" and "afford" shouldn't be used in this community? :ROFLMAO:

We used 7PRC extensively at the end of 2024. I was very impressed with it but I’m going 300PRC for this build.
Both cartridges are impressive, but my preference is the .30 cal... I just love the energy.. but I also tend to prefer heavy for caliber bullets. In my 300 I'm shooting 210 gr. Berger VLD Hunting bullets.. wicked accurate in my rifle and a fuck ton of downrange energy!

And you feel the Endex is stout enough for the 300 PRC? Nothing I enjoy more than shooting tiny “mountain guns” in big calibers.

Yes, it doesn’t feel at all like a tiny mountain gun. It’s a very substantial platform.
