Glad to be here. I was raised in Texas, spent a significant part of my adult life in California, and now call a 100-year-old colonial homestead in North Carolina home.

My background spans the outdoors, craftsmanship, hunting, land stewardship, and the ongoing work of building something lasting.

If you find yourself in my neck of the woods, have land you’d like hunted, or just need a man of questionable repute to have a drink with, don’t be a stranger.

Welcome to the Society.

I completely renovated a 100 year old Cape when I lived in NY.
Roof, every pipe, window, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, damn near everything.
Glad I got that shit outta my system.

Before we moved to Florida I sold every tool except for enough to do minor repairs around the new crib.

It’s an experience I’m sure when it’s done I’ll look back on eventually and be glad I did it. Most days even when it’s bad it’s tolerable but there is a frustration about getting up at 3am to shower before a business trip or overseas call and there’s no water or worse yet to much water in a room that doesn’t even have fixtures that makes you question life decisions.

Thankfully we’re reaching the point where it’s finally dried in and the power / water situation is dependable at least to most third world countries. Nowhere to go but up 🤷‍♂️
