The good side. Eastern half. I do love a bit of Montana too. Have a brother that lives there.Welcome - I was from Washington - Key word "from". haha actually I still love the state but hate the politics and over crowding, but do miss hunting elk and blacktail on the peninsula. Still go back once a year to visit. What part of WA you from?
Yes sir. Little outside of Moses Lake.Being a WSU alum, I assume mean east of the cascades?
Seriously a great place to live... if only the politics wasn't ruled by the west side morons.I miss winter fishing at Rocky Ford and cut my teeth hunting ducks with my Dad at Gloyd Seeps - miss that part of of the state
Agree with you takdadjk! I am a Washington native and at 61 years old I have seen the changes over the years.Seriously a great place to live... if only the politics wasn't ruled by the west side morons.
Mike - blacktail hunting on the peninsula as well as SW Washington is still pretty good. Just need to get away from the I5 corridor. And go Cougs!I just took over my parents cabin on a little lake in the north cascades. I spent summers there as a kid and I look forward to getting my kids there each summer. But I am also starting to think of spending some time there in November for blacktail. Shit I think the hunting there (unless it has changed dramatically) may be less crowded than my state of Montana
Not going to lie, I haven't seen a hunter the past three seasons. Granted, it's archery, but still. There are too many places to get away from crowds without the backcountry ruck.Mike - blacktail hunting on the peninsula as well as SW Washington is still pretty good. Just need to get away from the I5 corridor. And go Cougs!
