Starting to run out of room in my humidors, which means I’ve got well over 300 cigars. Starting to look at larger options for storage and aging. What is everyone using? Anyone using electric mini fridge styles?
Yes sir I have a fridge style humidor and it's awesome hold humidity great the boveda packs ive had in there are still kicking 5 years later never had to replace them. For a way cheaper option you can use a locking waterproof plastic tote as long as the lid has a gasket and it will do everything the fridge humidor will do way way cheaper. If your not wanting to display your collection id honestly go the tote route , get some larger bovedas to throw in and youll be good to go, save some money for more cigars
I still maintain an old school cedar lined humidor but a year or two ago I started using Rubbermaid Brilliance containers and they are outstanding. I don't have a huge collection, maybe 150 cigars, but I'll definitely be grabbing another one or two and stockpiling some more tobacco in case of the apocalypse, or further taxes in Wa State.
