Glad to be here. I’m Joe, based in a small town called Warsaw, Illinois, along the Mississippi River. Some of my off-work life revolves around the outdoors — and some of that is spent around a campfire or a wood stove having a drink with good friends and telling even better stories.
I’m a member of the Warsaw Gun Club, which for us is less about shooting and more about a way of life. It’s a group of like-minded folks who value tradition, sportsmanship, and camaraderie. We hunt, fish, share meals and drinks, tell stories, and do our best to pass down the things worth keeping. Established in 1939, the club is also deeply tied to our town — we put a lot of hours into volunteer work and community causes, believing that stewardship starts at home.
Looking forward to learning from everyone here, having a good laugh, fielding ideas of what to spend my money on (that doesn't go to Somali day care shams), and contributing where I can. Appreciate the chance to be part of the Field Ethos Society.
