Breitling Avenger (1 of 2,000) GMT 44 Night Mission. Another score from Johannesburg, South Africa in the O. R. Tambo Int’l Airport duty free shops. The store was ending their sales of Breitling watches so I scored a nice discount. I got this as a 21st anniversary gift from my wife back in March of ‘23.

It needs some hot sun and sweat but overall is pretty good. Good length. Not excessively long. I know, thats what she said.

Working backwards thru my collection. This Tag/Heuer Monaco Gulf edition (39mm) also was a score in Johannesburg, South Africa at the duty free shop in O. R. Tambo Int’l Airport. This was my first watch purchase over there. I got this one in 2019 at the conclusion of our third trip to SA.

This is difficult. Tool watch or, for lack of a better word, dress(ier) watch? They are both excellent choices. Personally, I lean towards
the Tudor and would make it work in all situations.
