Earlier this year a friend of mine gave me a model 70 stock from the late 50s early 60s. It has walrus ivory inlays in various parts of the stock. I recently locally ran across a 1960 model 70 in 30-06 that was in beautiful shape except the stock had been ruined. I sourced a 1960 Leupold M7 4 power scope from 1960 as well as a set of Leupold Detacho rings with peep sight from the same era. Tonight I was able to assemble everything. She came out pretty nice! Might have to take a deer with the old girl this fall. IMG_6320.jpegIMG_6321.jpegIMG_6322.jpegIMG_6323.jpeg
