…shooting more rounds weekly

…planning, and then execute the plan, to kill a Cape Buffalo and put blood on the .416 Rogue

….simplifying my life, finding one thing or action weekly that I didn’t just think, I did, to make it that way, less things, more experiences

Stop…

….being periodically lazy and see if I can drop the metric equivalent of a few cases of Barnes TTSX 180gr 300 WinMag in the year, maybe most by the FE Africa trip

…thinking of ways to irritate the living shit out of @Tony Caggiano and instead make him relax, thus lulling him in to a state of passive defense and open to attack

….worrying about the crap you can’t control in life: if you can control it, do so; if you can influence it, do so; if you can do neither, don’t give it a single fuck

….training at the things I call passions, it’s the ultimate positive reinforcement play

…all myriad of operations at Fuckery, Inc., and now its subsidiary organization Task Force 64, to have a blast on hunting adventures, it’s not just the shot, it’s the hours to and from that can also matter

….being the best Husband, Father, Friend, I can be, learning every day

I think it’s cool you offer that, Ron. It’s taken me longer than it should have to learn that no significant life change happens apart from accountability.
Check out Mountain Tactical Institute. Their body weight onboard plan is a good place to start, they have a busy dad series of plans that I swear by. Here is the nutritional advise, simple and straightforward.https://mtntactical.com/knowledge/nutritional-guidelines/
Hit me up if you want an accountability partner for this

I love the point of controlling what you can control, and not worrying about what you can’t. My high school football coach always said this to us and I feel like it has really stuck. I have a lot of friends my age that struggle with this so I am glad I learned it so young.

I was part of a men’s accountability group years ago where we all chose something to start, something to stop, and something to try. That’s what your post reminded me of. Good stuff!

I’ve been on a weight loss journey since June. So far I’m down 50 pounds so I’ll continue with that.
This year I’m going to work harder when at work and fuck off more when not lol. It’s too easy to let work bleed into your off time which drags you down when on the job in the long run.

This will be the year i read the whole Bible cover to cover. Gonna stay active and practice moderation. Never hunted our property with a deer stand. My boy turns 6 come July. Building a stand in the off season will be in order so I can introduce him to the life I love.
What book? I used "The Bible: Designed to be Read as Living Literature." If you want cover to cover, this is the way.

If you go this route, let me know and I'll read it with you.

I will have to check that out for sure. I found this page in my Grandpas Bible. Splits it up pretty well I like how each day you cover something a bit different gospel, law, poetry etc.
