Going to try to eat healthier and work out more so I don’t feel like such a fat fuck when I’m chasing animals on my Eastern Cape trip in May.

I love eating and drinking specifically with my wife so it’s a constant battle.

Life sometimes kicks ya in the balls. I spent 2 days in the hospital with Diverticulitis in early October. I am down 20 lbs since and I would like to get another 20 off.

I hate working out just to work out. If my body allowed I could play basketball everyday.

I wanna write more. For me, and for others. I love it. I’ve been told I’m good at it by people I trust. I’ve gotta get over my own imposter syndrome, though.

Took the first steps yesterday. Last Christmas (2024) my wife dropped this stack of sticky-notes in my stocking. When I pulled it out she said they’re writing prompts she personally made for me. I promptly (see what I did there) set them aside to pay more dedicated attention to them later. I rediscovered them recently while doing Christmas prep for this year. Decided I would start Jan 1st with a goal of one prompt per day. Flipping through some of these, that may be a bit ambitious, but maybe I can at least finish them by next Christmas.
