Heavy for caliber, high BC, bonded load. One of the highest BC offerings I found in 30-06. Tipped and made to expand at various ranges. Shot 3 shot groups from a bench out of my Winchester Model 70. For me, could touch bullets every time at 100 yards. Bonus, great little ammo containers for carrying and Norma brass if you reload. Side note, my gun also really liked Federal Terminal Ascent in 175 grain weight, but not quite as good. Still right around 1/2 inch.

Norma 30-06 BondStrike Ammo

100 yard, 3 shot group size and 2 shot cold bore confirmation after traveling.

I have had good accuracy with this ammo, but the velocity is terribly low. I’m getting somewhere around 2570fps out of two different rifles.

I haven’t tested velocity. My 06 is 22 inch barrel. What caliber and grain weight? Significantly lower than advertised? Short barrel?

Dakota 76 22” barrel 30-06 2659fps ES70.4
Blaser R8 24.3” barrel 30-06 2531fps ES57.3
Winchester 22” barrel 30-06 2536fps ES13.7
The Dakota has an extremely short throat and is generally faster than other rifles.

This was all norma factory bondstrike 180gr I bought a case of it before I knew it was slow. It will work fine on whitetail deer but I wanted to know if I got a fluke.

My 300WSM factory bondstrike is right in line on velocity with the box stated velocity.
