Who here has an old dog still going after it? 15 years ago, my wife and I decided to get a dog. She wanted a lab, and I wanted a golden. Naturally we compromised and got one of each. We lost the lab right after his 14th birthday this year but the golden is still kicking. Whenever the weather is right, I still take him over our younger ones. IMG_7595.jpeg

My old girl Lakota last year on scaled quail. 15 years young. We are going to give it a go in a few weeks again for her 16th. I’m sure it will be her last hurrah but she sure has had a run!

Sig is our 6yr old pudelpointer
Amazing upland hunting/family dog. His on/off switch is awesome.
Keeping him out of the vets office is another story! inbound3509563509163591206.webpinbound4747453098685114646.jpginbound7981854198734033740.jpg

He is 13 now and retired from hunting. He will be the dog I wish I could of had later in life. When I would of been able to hunt more and pay more attention to him. We still got out every year, several times, but nowhere near the amount he deserved.
