What's the appropriate level of detail to be conveyed during a Catholic confession?
You know you are being too vague when the priest has to ask clarifying questions. You know you are too specific if He walks out after and say confessions are over for the day or if there is another priest that now does confessions. I think I’m going to try a different church next time. 😆

I'm Protestant, myself, but I hear lots of confessions, both as the pastor of a church and as a spiritual counselor at an inpatient, substance abuse facility. The rule of thumb there is, "You can tell me who you killed. Just don't tell me where the bodies are buried."
