I've always been a fan of the Komodo dragons ever since as a young boy I watched Marlin Perkins Wild Kingdom sponsored by Mutual of Omaha his right hand man and guinea pig, Jim Fowler.. here comes Jim now leading a Komodo dragon into the coral (and the camera pans to Jim running for his life with a komodo dragon in hot pursuit)..
I've also loved Geckos which we called "fuck you" lizards because that's what it sounded like they were saying.
Next would be iguanas.. who doesn't like iguanas
Here's some pics of some I observed while hiking through the jungle in Costa Rica...
The "Lot Lizards"... I never knew they were a thing until I got laid off from Boeing and started long haul truck driving for Schneider National.. that cracks me up! I thought only truckers knew about "lot lizards!?" Climbing up on your truck like geckos... Their call is slightly different than the "fuck you" of the gecko though.. it's more higher pitched, like "fuck me"... Lol
