The gun is definitely +P rated. @chuckneagle18 , that’s enough damage to suggest that the ammo was insanely pressurized. Double +P charge by an employee at 4:45pm on a Friday. I’d bet the farm on it. Super Vel? Never heard of them. That doesn’t mean they’re bad, but it does make me wonder if they have checks in place to keep their employees from making dynamite sticks that fit in revolvers.

Ok, that makes me feel better. I don’t have as much knowledge on who all is making ammo anymore since I’ve been out of the retail firearms side for over a decade, but I’d never heard of that manufacturer either. @David Simerly and I hypothesized that it was a double charge, too.

Ever with a double charge, those guns are tested for it. This had to have been something weird.
