That bmw 6 cylinder is a torque motor and can actually rev to 8300 with a chip. I had one in my M3 race car and it was strong and bulletproof

I picked up a 1967 LTV Kidd 8x8 in an attempt to take it up to the North slope of Alaska for caribou hunting. I ve been twice in an airboat, but going to see if I can do it completely independent of guides or transportation services.

Pretty neat rig (similar to like an Argo) 30hp Wisconsin air cooled engine geared directly to two hydraulic transmissions that chain drive the 8 wheels.
