Just picked up this unfired Franchi SPAS-12. A dream gun I’ve always wanted since the year of our lord 1986.
Has anyone out there got a gun they own or have wanted since they were young?

My dream list is all the rifles and pistols from the major players in WWII. I have Japan, Germany, UK, US and USSR, but still a couple holes in there.

I have a S&W Model 10 that was rechambered to .38 S&W (not special), and sent to the UK. It was part of the Lend Lease Act prior to the direct US involvement in the War, so has “Property of the US” stamped on top and BNP all across the cylinder. Not super rare, but a cool piece of history to me.

Working a pawn shop gun counter had some decent perks.

Honestly the books, Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park: The Lost World, are pretty great too… I didn’t realize how much they changed for the movies.

I always wanted a FAL got one a few years ago,also what do you think of all these British citizens being arrested for pictures of them with guns taken in the USA

Ever since I saw Mel Gibson in the Patriot, I’ve wanted an authentic flintlock pistol (love the 17th and 18th century time period), but I tell myself it’s not practical and end up buying a 21st century one instead . One of these days I’ll bite the bullet and do it. It would be so cool to have a piece of history like that.
