Are there any undiscovered waves left? Looking for an adventure of a life time to hunt some crazy waves in crazy places.
I grew up here in San Diego, Bird Rock specifically. Surfed from age 10 until a few years ago after my second neck surgery. Spent a lot of time surfing in Baja too. I'm one of those rare regular footed surfers who surfs lefts better than rights. I attribute that to surfing South Bird so much as a kid.

There's a dude I follow on Instagram named Max Campbell (@un.tide is his handle) who is sailing and surfing his way around the world. He has beautiful women join him for parts of the trips. He has surfed in some of the most remote and beautiful spots in the world

Damn, I’m going to check this max campbell kid out, thanks for sharing. Could you surf San O even with the cooked neck?

I could technically surf anything. But if I wipe out and my board hits my neck (which it's done a few times) or I hit the bottom funny, I would either be paralyzed or dead. My wife has decided it's not worth the risk :ROFLMAO:

I bet you loved Newport zone! Backside galore. I’ll check out Max Campbell. I like what I’m hearing, surfing and beautiful women, can’t get better than that.

Couple shots from a trip to the Mentawais I did a while back….
