Love that Sable pedestal mount. This is my 70s themed bar where I have most of my African big game and bird mounts
Love your trophies! I live in the heart of northern duck hunting and have never shot a banded duck. Have shot a banded sharptail grouse lol.My eclectic collection of memories. A few notes. Cape Buffalo was soft bossed and I had to get the fake hard bossed removed so it looks more like what I shot. Harlequin is the only banded (double banded) duck I’ve taken. Probably like my Steenbok and Warthog best as they ignore fences and sneak in and out through holes everywhere.
Thanks! One of my favorite as well.Love that Sable pedestal mount.

lol well I’m not that tech savvy so I had to build it! Thanks by the way. It is a great place to escape after work. Can enjoy a nice drink and an occasional cigar while reading my FE quarterly or other such rag. The only thing missing is my Penelope. She was my little bulldog that was my traveling partner. She died this past summer. Her brother Gunny still hangs with me but she was the queen of the pad lol.I legit thought this was AI when I saw the first pic, this is amazing!

love the merganser mountWould love to see everyone's trophy rooms or taxidermy photos. I've been into taxidermy for as long as I can remember and look forward to the day I can have an office or dedicated space for it. A moody room with dark wood paneled walls, well-worn leather furniture, good art and literature and mounts all over. I know a few were posted in the euro vs. shoulder mount thread, but figured I'd make an official thread for it.
Here are a few I have out now. Hooded Merg, Fulvous Whistling Duck, assortment of grouse/woodcock fans and misc items, Black Duck, my first (and only) buck, headshot pig. I have a Bufflehead, few euros, and pelts in storage as well. Need to find a place for those.
Many a good time have happened there lol! This place looks like a good time.
Really nice way to display your Spanish slam!Mom once told me “you don’t have to mount EVERYTHING!” I’ve got two full bodies in the works at Monarch and ten total waiting to ship from Slovakia and Australia![]()
SC gator. That hunt is on Vimeo https://vimeo.com/chiphunnicutt/gatorhuntThat croc/gator mount is cool! Can't tell which from the picture...
Very cool. Think I’ve got 4 preference points for SC Gator. Might be time to try and draw.SC gator. That hunt is on Vimeo https://vimeo.com/chiphunnicutt/gatorhunt
Great mix of species in the trophy room. I'm partial to blue wildebeest as that was my first African species. What made you go with two of them on that wall?Whitetails are in the "man cave" up at deer camp. The remainder are in our basement trophy room.
