Depending on how I’m dressed I carry gen 5 g19 or gen 5 g45 with an rmr. Appendix in a phlster professional. Looking for another S&W 442/642 to give me another option. Gave my 442 to a buddy that was running supplies in Western NC after Hurricane Helene.IMG_0342.jpeg

Based on my history of carrying Glocks as my duty weapon in law enforcement, I'm partial to them for the sake of familiarity, though I happily carry a number of other guns, I'm currently carrying my Glock 43x in a Muddy River holster. This gun/holster combo has seen so much wear that the holster went from Level 0 retention to essentially Level 1 as it's is perfectly molded to the gun (relax, nerds, I'm joking about retention levels).4DDFA101-6846-43D3-B776-F17A9A03E086.JPG

Overlooked by many. This gun is a solid carry option.
I was between this and Sig365 X Macro on feel. Both fit my hand great. I bought with confidence trusting FE review. While way lighter and more compact than the Sig SP2022 I used to carry, it has better capacity and surprisingly even easier to control recoil, for me. I like DA/SA guns, but trigger is great on it. Solid irons. No issues cycling whatsoever, so far. Only complaint is the finish, which shows wear way to easy.

Agree about the feel. A worn finish on your carry gun looks dope.
