Mission to Jupiter.

The last of my Omega x Swatch(es). Speedmaster styling and bioceramic materials. Mission to Jupiter was part of the original Moonswatch collection. Models for the 8 planetary bodies, Earth’s moon, and the Sun.

This was my first Swatch, purchased for me by the wife while visiting Scotland. She was in Edinburgh 2023 with my daughter and 2 of the grandkids. Quite the souvenier. I wanted Jupiter, for the colorway, and it’s my favorite planet.

This thread and another discussion on here made me think of an old watch I've had sitting in a box on my dresser for too long. My first job after getting out of the Marines was at San Diego Divers Supply. I was heavy into scuba diving at the time and needed a good dive watch. They had this sitting in the front case and I could barely afford it even with my employee discount, but I wore it everywhere for years. It's a Seiko 7002-7009A1 which were, so I am told, issued to the SEALs for a while.

I don't know why it went into the box but it did. When I took it out it last week still ran, but very slowly. It's currently at our jeweler getting refurbished and I bought a Seiko divers rubber strap for it since the metal one is worn out. This will be my daily once I get it back
